I was born and raised in Kenosha and actually went to St. Mary's (south campus) for K5 - 6th grade. I then attended UW LaCrosse and UW Parkside receiving my degree in Liberal Arts and my Certificate in Teaching (birth - 3rd grade). This is my eighth year teaching 5 year old Kindergarten at ASCS. I put my heart and soul into my students and their families in order to make sure that my students not only learn, but love the process of learning and educating themselves.
A little more about me: I love to spend time with my cat and two dogs, travel with my family and boyfriend and go up north to our cabin. You can always find me with a new book in my hand when I have some down time. I love kayaking.
Mission Statement: *Together we will teach children to see the world through the eyes of Christ and to model the lives of the saints, In a rigorous, academic environment.*
Please make sure that you are taking the time to sit down with your son/daughter every night to read with them for at least 15 minutes. Though they may not know many words at this point, you can help them sound out letters that they may know to blend sounds together. If they do know some words, then please let them read those while you read the harder ones that they may not know.
