MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHERS LIST
Graduated from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire
Degree - Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Ed. K-8 (Minor - Psychology)
License - State of Wisconsin Elementary Education Teaching License K-8
Philosophy - I love teaching first grade. It is a rewarding experience to see the excitement in the children when they learn something new. I love to see the growth in the students, especially as they learn to read. Each child is a special gift from God, and they make each day special.
I enjoy reading and walking in my free time. I also enjoy going to our lake house and spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren: Hailey, Finn, and Cameran.
ASCS Mission Statement: Together we will teach children to see the world through the eyes of Christ and to model the lives of the Saints in a rigorous academic environment.

Have a great summer. Work on your summer packet and read daily. On rainy days you can complete any IXL activities that you did not finish during first grade.
Remember to attend Mass with your family. Remember to pray with your family before dinner.
Student Resources all in one place
Reading - read for 20 minutes - read a story aloud to an adult, talk about the beginning, middle, and the end. Why did the author write the story? Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why?
Practice the high frequency word list that was sent home. Make flash cards for the words you do not know. (do not try to do all the words in one day) Use your red folder list as a guide for next week. We are on list 1.4.3 (the third list - long o sound)
Students may take an AR test from home with the link above,
practice your spelling words - write them on a whiteboard or with chalk outside
Link to the handwriting paper I use if you need to make copies. You can also type in any words. Students could type in a story and trace their own words.
