Clubs
All Saints Catholic School offers many teacher guided student clubs. Club meetings are held both during and after school.
Get inspired to create your own projects: scarves, placemats, hats, purses, phone cases etc. The youth of America are getting more and more hands on. Join the growing rise in crafting—plus get inspired to create your own crochet or knitting projects. Crocheting/knitting skills have shown to strengthen fingers, improve handwriting/fine motor function as well as enhance math & problem solving skills.
Students in grades 5-8 interested in joining ASCS Crochet/Knitting Club should fill out the attached form return it to Mrs. Capelli. Then accept the invitation to join the club’s Google Classroom.
Club meets on 12 scheduled Mondays from 3:15-4:00 pm in Room 204. Join for Fall, Spring, or both. Add the dates to your calendar, as no confirmations will be sent.
Students will need to purchase yarn and a crochet hook before the first club meeting. To start, I recommend crochet hook sizes H/8-5.00 MM or J/10-6.00 MM and skeins of Hobby Lobby’s 100% Fundamental Cotton from Yarn Bee for making a placemat. Choose various colors.
Fall Crochet Club Dates:
October 9, 16, 23
November 6, 13, 27
Spring Crochet Club Dates:
March 11, 18, 25
April 15, 22, 29
