It is 5:20 PM on Wednesday, June 6th. I am sitting at my desk at our North Campus having “checked” the last teacher’s room and said goodbye. The building is quiet and will remain that way until August. One year ago this day I was sitting around a table at St. Elizabeth parish introducing myself to the teachers and staff members who had been recently hired. There were so many unknowns. Today, my heart is grateful for the call I received from God to come to Kenosha. I feel privileged to serve All Saints Catholic School. On Tuesday I attended our last Mass of the 2012-2013 school year at both the North and South campus. At the 2:00 PM mass at the north campus I found myself moved to tears. As a community we have come together to build an excellent Catholic school for our children. Our teachers and staff members are faith-filled individuals. Our parents are generous with their time, treasure and talent. Our children are proud of their school. While I recognize that we can and will get better, I applaud our efforts and the progress we made this year. All Saints Catholic School-Rocks! Tell your friends to come check it out!
